Marketing Leadership Programme


The Level 7 Marketing Leadership Programme is designed to give you a fast track route to ‘C Suite’ level, drive growth in your business, and equip you for a successful new career as a highly-valued consultant. Through its five core components – qualification, ‘hard’ leadership skills, ‘soft’ leadership skills, ‘future proof’ strategy, and profile – MLP aims to help you develop a range of new skills and, more importantly, the confidence to challenge yourself and your organisation, and to aim for a higher level.

This programme is designed for senior marketing professionals, consultants or business owners with the drive and determination to take their careers to the next level. Ideally, you should be in a senior marketing position with at least 5 years of management experience. You may well have a marketing degree or CIM Diploma (or similar qualification), but this is not required.

Course Structure
and Flexibility

To complete this Masters Level Qualification, you will need to pass two mandatory modules – Contemporary Challenges and Leading Change. In addition to them, participants are expected to select one out of two elective modules – Consultancy or Managing Business Growth.

Each module takes approximately six months to complete, and each module completion results in a stand-alone Award meaning you will obtain certificates for each, as well as a full qualification upon completing the entirety of the programme.



The module in Contemporary Challenges is centered on evaluating global megatrends, market challenges, market disruptors, and changing business models.


The Integrated Communications module includes the topics of building a case for change, creating and implementing change in culture, and measuring the effectiveness of your recommendations.


The elective in Consultancy focuses on giving you an understanding of creating a sustainable consultancy proposition, developing your personal brand, establishing a clear understanding of the client’s business issue, and developing and implementing an effective solution.


Alternatively, the elective in Managing Business Growth will teach you how to appraise your market dynamics and the relevant business drivers, analysing customer buying behaviour, creating a positioning strategy to deliver sustainable growth, and maximizing your organisation’s performance.
